Return & refund policy

    Curiosa is a digital service. We do not sell, ship, or deliver physical goods. Items displayed on the platform belong to their respective owners. Curiosa only provides AI-powered analysis and appraisal services.

    1. No physical returns

    Since Curiosa does not sell or ship physical products, there are no physical goods to return. Our platform is a digital service that provides AI-powered identification, valuation, and documentation of collectibles, antiques, and curiosities.

    2. Subscription cancellation

    You may cancel your Curiosa Premium subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

    • Your premium features remain active until the end of your current billing period
    • No further charges will be made after cancellation
    • We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period

    You can manage your subscription through your account settings or by contacting us directly.

    3. Scan pack refunds

    Scan packs are one-time purchases of additional AI analysis credits. If you have not used any credits from a purchased scan pack, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Once credits have been used, the scan pack is non-refundable.

    4. EU right of withdrawal

    Under European consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. However, by using our service and initiating a scan or accessing premium features, you acknowledge that the digital service has been fully performed and you waive your right of withdrawal for that specific service instance, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the directive.

    If you have not yet used the service after purchase, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days by contacting us.

    5. How to request a refund

    To request a refund, please contact us with:

    • Your account email address
    • The date and type of purchase (subscription or scan pack)
    • The reason for your refund request

    We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.

    6. Exceptions

    We may offer a goodwill refund at our discretion in cases where the service did not perform as expected due to a technical error on our part. Each case is reviewed individually.
