German porcelain manufacturer founded in 1871 in Rödental, Bavaria. Best known for producing the Hummel figurines based on Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel's artwork, Goebel also created fine collectible figurines and decorative items until reorganization in 2008.

Introduced in 1935, this figure depicts a child with a walking stick and sack, based on Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel's drawings of Bavarian youth. Early examples feature the 'Crown Mark' incised on the base and currently fetch between $500 and $1,200 at specialty auctions.
