POSTAL HERITAGE
PHILATELIC NOTES
This was one of the first French youth collection issues to be denominated exclusively in Euros after the currency's physical introduction in January 2002.
The Voxan 1000 featured on the bottom left was a rare attempt by a French manufacturer to compete in the high-end motorcycle market before the company faced liquidation in 2011.
SCARCITY
Older mass-produced items still widely available. Easy to find on eBay, antique malls, and estate sales in large quantities.
Rarity 2/10. Curiosa currently catalogues 19 stamps items at rarity 2 or higher.
Typical Characteristics
- Mass produced historically
- High survival rate
- Readily available everywhere
Confidence Factors
- Modern photogravure printing characteristics are consistent with La Poste standards
- ITVF printer imprint is clearly visible under magnification
- Low market incentive for counterfeiting this specific modern issue

KEY EVIDENCE
- 1Denominations in Euros (0,16€ and 0,30€) consistent with 2002 issue date
- 2Visible signatures of Frank Margerin and Ptiluc

WHAT WOULD IMPROVE CERTAINTY
- →Inspect reverse side for original gum integrity (Never Hinged status)
- →Verify phosphor tagging with a short-wave UV light
- →Measure dimensions to ensure it hasn't been trimmed from a larger sheet (though this is a specific booklet format)
CONDITION & GRADE
Grading breakdown
The pane is well-centered with clean perforations (gauge 13.5). The colors remain vibrant without fading, and there is no evidence of adhesive disturbance on the face.
Condition
The pane appears to be in Mint Never Hinged (MNH) condition. Perforations are intact across all stamps and the margins. No visible toning, creasing, or foxing is evident on the face. The centering is typical for this modern ITVF issue.
